I don’t know who made the decision to let all of the children come to the Veterans Day program. I assume the school board or Jack Payton, superintendent.
However, it was very gratifying and heart warming. To see all the signs and flags tells me some teachers did a great job explaining the reasons for Veterans Day.
As a Korean vet, I want to say thank you to all those responsible for the flags and signs and especially for all of the children that learned something about freedom.
