RACINE — Meigs County Sheriff Keith Wood reports that on March 15, Xavier Cooper, 17, the missing juvenile who has been missing since Feb. 15, returned home safely.
Wood reports that Sarah Cooper contacted the sheriff’s office at around 8:30 p.m., March 15, to advise that Xavier and Jadyn R. Watkins had returned. Both Xavier and Jadyn came into the sheriff’s office on Thursday, March 16 and talked to Sgt. Patterson about what had occurred.
As previously reported, Christopher and Sarah Cooper of Racine, reported to the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office that Xavier had left their residence between 3 and 6 a.m. on Feb. 15 and was believed to be traveling with his girlfriend, Watkins, 18, of Logan.
Sheriff Wood extends his appreciation to all who submitted information and tips in an effort to get Xavier home safe with his family.
