Staff Report

POMEROY — Ohio Valley Bank’s Dan Short revealed the new Meigs Marauders debit card design as part of its Community First debit card program.

Meigs High School will receive$5 for every customer that chooses to upgrade to the new card design. Ohio Valley Bank released an Eastern Eagles card last spring and currently offers more than a dozen other local school and charity designs.

Through the Community First debit card program, bank account holders may upgrade the look of their debit card to one locally designed for their favorite school or local charity. The upgrade is available for a $10 fee, with half donated back to the school or charity.

Bank staff are currently working to add more local designs to the mix. Officials from schools or local charities wishing to participate in the program should email communityfirst@ovbc.com for details. A look at the designs currently available can be found at www.ovbc.com/communitycards.
