MIDDLEPORT — Ash Street Church of Middleport announces a Gospel Sing with Forever Blessed and a book signing for Pastor Mark Morrow at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 9).
While pastor at First Baptist Church in Middleport, Morrow began a faith-based small group ministry 20 years ago called “Nightlights” for people who battle chronic depression. He is also chaplain at Lakin Correctional Center for Women, where he has provided this ministry for depression for the past 11 years.
Morrow said he has seen God set many people free from their depression over the past 20 years. Morrow recently published the book, “Nightlights: Freedom from Depression in Seven Weeks; Seven Steps in Seven Weeks.” The book includes stories of seven people who were set free from their chronic depression and seven steps for people to take to be set free.
The book was published by Westbow Press and is also available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble Bookstores.
At Saturday’s event takes place at Ash Street Church (beside the ballpark in Middleport).
