3 Meigs Local players headed to bowl game

POMEROY — Three of Meigs Local High School’s own will be heading to Tampa, Fla., in January to compete in the Blue-Grey All American Bowl at Raymond James Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.The gridiron trio will compete there at 8 p.m. Jan. 10, 2015.Eight Meigs Local players competed in total, some at both the Blue-Grey and All American Combines. In the end, 90 total were chosen from around the country from 6,750 players, with three of those 90 coming from Meigs Local: Brad Harless, Michael Davis and Daylen Neece.
