Carolyn Avery, 63, of Pomeroy, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio.
She was born June 12, 1949, daughter of the late Hayward Waldo and Eunice Irene Nichols Nutter.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Johnson; a daughter, Penny Johnson; two brothers; and a sister.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
