Jessie E. Bricker, age 89, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009 at her residence.
She was a retired receptionist for Alantic-Richfield Oil Co., and an avid Ohio State University football fan, along with basketball and other sports. She loved gardening, crocheting, square dancing and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bricker, parents, Josie Caldwell Fish and Allie Fish; sisters, Mildred Eagle, Flora Goldsburry, Elsie Biggs, Edith Shivey and brother, William Fish.
She is survived by a daughter, Paula Sue (William J.) Cooper, Jr. of Westerville, Oho; two grandsons, William Paul and Randall Scott Cooper; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Long Funeral Home, 5528 Cleveland Ave. (one block south of SR 161) where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009. Rev. Kevin Heckathorn will officiate. Interment will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Central Ohio Chapter, 2225 Citygate Drive, Suite E., Columbus, Ohio 43219.
