Delbert and Opal (Cozart) VanMeter celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on Oct. 30, 2012.
Delbert and Opal have four children, Debra Bowman of Columbus, Ohio, Lewis VanMeter of Racine, Ohio, Kelly VanMeter of Anchorage, Alaska, and Lesa VanMeter of Columbus, Ohio. They also have seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
They were married by Rev. Shelton in Racine, Ohio on Oct. 30, 1949.
