Health Department closing at noon today

POMEROY — The Meigs County Health Department will be closing at noon today, July 17, due to the air conditioning not working properly and the high temperatures in the facility.

Measures have been taken to restore the air condition to the building by Thursday.

“In the interest of the health and well-being of our staff and clients, we appreciate you understanding and apologize for the inconvenience,” read the news release from the health department.

Business hours will resume at 8 a.m. on Wed. July 18. Please call (740) 992-6626 to verify hours of operation on Wednesday.
