GALLIPOLIS — Cincinnati-based BB Riverboats has announced that its flagship, the Belle of Cincinnati, will be embarking on a eight-day Summer Cruise Tour to five river cities beginning July 24 and running through August 1. The Belle’s Gallipolis stop will take place on Wednesday, August 1. Access to the Belle of Cincinnati will be from the public use area across from the Gallipolis City Park.
They will be offering an array of lunch, brunch, dinner and sightseeing cruises throughout the tour as they make their visit from city to city. Cities that are scheduled for cruises include Gallipolis, Ironton, Portsmouth, Huntington, W.Va. and Maysville, Ky.
“We are excited to be bringing the Belle of Cincinnati to all of these great river cities this summer,” says Alan Bernstein, owner of BB Riverboats. “It’s very nostalgic traveling from city to city and entertaining the residents of each individual community. It’s a lot like the old steamboat days.”
