Racine American Legion Post 602 not only took part in the parade, but conducted the flag raising ceremony prior to the parade on Wednesday morning.
Local church groups took part in the parade with decorated floats.

The Racine Police lead the parade into town followed by other law enforcement vehicles and fire trucks from at least seven departments from around the region.

The Stop Hunger at Home float was prepared to be loaded down with non-perishable food items throughout the parade.
