Laura Mae Schaefer Breakiron, 62, of Gallipolis, Ohio formerly of Chesapeake, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and her husband, Charles A. Breakiron on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at the Holzer Medical Center, Jackson, Ohio. Laura Mae was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a great woman with great courage, love, kindness and had a most gentle and unselfish heart.

Laura Mae was born on February 11, 1949, daughter of the late Karlos Schaefer and Daisy Mae Thornburg Haynes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Breakiron on May 7, 2006, whom she loved very much.

Surviving are her daughters, Cristal (Larry) Caldwell of Bidwell, Ohio, and Pennie (Charlie) Perkins of Jackson, Ohio; son, Charles “Adam” Breakiron of Pataskala, Ohio; three grandchildren, which she loved dearly, Shania D. Caldwell, Chase A. Caldwell, and Tyler J. Shortridge.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Hill Cemetery in Thurman, Ohio. Family and friends may call on Monday, October 31, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home.
