She was formerly employed by the Tiny Tech Preschool.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, William King, a sister, Elsie Young, and brothers, Orville “Obb” Marks and Freddie Marks.
She is survived by daughters: Mary (Mark) Kimes, Middleport; Cindy (Anthony) Rowe, Pomeroy; Teresa Trussell, Syracuse; Amelia King, Pomeroy; grandchildren, Donald Whan III, Melia (Michael) Conley, Cassi (Zach Arms) Whan, Jeffery Kimes, Anthony Rowe, Jr., Kiesha Rowe, Adrianna Rowe, Keynath Rowe, Jessica Rowe, Alyssa Rowe, Cheyenne Trussell, Scott Trussell, Autumn Trussell, Makya Trussell; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Arms and Madalynn Trussell
Also surviving are sisters, Nellie (Henry) Young of Athens, Gladys (Charles) Young of Coolville, Florence (John) Matheny of Athens; brother: Delbert “Joe” (Donna) Marks of Coolville; and a special friend, Brady Sayre of Pomeroy.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Officiating will be Rev. Clark Baker and Rob Doner. Burial will be in Wells Cemetery. Friends may call on Jan.22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
