Gallia Academy senior Natalie Close, seated second from left, signed a letter of intent on Friday (May 18) at the GAHS library to continue her track and field career with the University of Rio Grande.

Close said of her choice, “It is close to home.” Close — the daughter of Paul and Robin Close — plans to major in business and is joined in the front row, from left, by Paul Close, Trey Brazzell and Robin Close. Standing in back are GAHS coach Todd May, URG coach Bob Willey and GAHS athletic director Craig Wright.
