RUTLAND TWP. — The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation are investigating a suspicious death which occurred early Sunday evening.
The suspicious death occurred in Rutland Township in Meigs County near the Gallia County line.
The victim’s name is not being released pending notification of family members according to a joint press release by Sheriff Robert Beegle and Prosecuting Attorney Colleen Williams.
