She was born on Feb. 1, 1961 in Millwaukee, Wisc., daughter of Randy Adkins of Pomeroy and the late Mary Hendrix Adkins.
She is survived by her: daughter, Shonna Halstead of Morgantown, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Emma Miller and Ayden Willard; father, Randy Adkins of Pomeroy; brother, Tony Adkins of Augusta, Ga.; sister, Becky (Howie) Caldwell of Tuppers Plains; nieces and nephews: Ashley, Jacob and Morgan Adkins of Augusta, Darcy (Conor) Lind of Fayetteville, N.C., and Kelly Winebrenner of Tuppers Plains; great nephew, Jordan Adkins; special friends, Betty Lou Jones, Tricia Rock and Brian Jones of Grove City; very special aunt, Linda Lou Adkins of Pomeroy; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her mother, Mary Adkins, she was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Victory Baptist Church in Middleport with Pastor James Kessee officiating.
