Arnolda Smith Carpenter, 85, of Point Pleasant, W.Va., died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at her home with her family at her side.
At her request there was no public visitation. A private graveside service was held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant, W.Va., with Pastor Charles Stansberry officiating. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, W.Va., is serving the family.
A public memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring.
